Jehovah’s Witnesses have concluded a 15 year project, translating the entire Bible into American Sign Language(ASL). This has never been done before. The deaf are now able to read the Bible in the “language of their heart.”

According to the recent census there are 130,600 deaf people in North Carolina. They will for the first time, be able to read the Bible on their own, a privilege most of us take for granted.

All of this work was done by volunteers for free. It is now available on JW.ORG at no charge to anyone who would care to view it. Go to the home page of JW.ORG, then select on the tool bar at the top “Language” type in ASL and then select the Bible and other publications all in sign language.

This free website is now available in over 1000 languages and no one will reach out to you unless you request it.

Jehovah’s Witnesses have translated the Bible into approximately 200 languages, adding 30 more last year and it is projected that in 2022 they will be able to add 36 additional languages.
