A sign language expert has gone viral after she had a moment which was very similar to a famous moment in Father Ted.
Taoiseach Micheal Martin and his Government colleagues announced on Tuesday that some of the few remaining COVID-19 restrictions would lift, but with continued protections still in place.
The announcement happened at a press conference, at which a sign language expert provided interpretation for viewers at home with hearing issues.

At one point, as reporters asked about how socialising in nightclubs will work from October 22, Mr Martin told them: ‘What traditionally happens at a nightclub will be able to happen at the nightclub’.
The comment was met with laughter as it was vague and the interpreter was equally confused about how she might portray it, and her reaction has gained attention on social media.
Under a video of the sign language expert, one person wrote: ‘When can we expect detailed NPHET guidelines for The Shift?’
Another added: ‘This has massive “has this guy never been to Copper Face Jacks?” energy!’
Fans of Father Ted may be able to draw similarities between the interpreter’s response and the famous sign language interpreter moment from the episode Rock A Hula Ted.
